Class | Sewing from Scratch – Module 5 – December 2026

$50.00

It’s the final stitch — and one of the most important skills in quilting!

In this final module of our Sewing from Scratch series, Janet will walk you through the process of binding your quilt like a pro. You’ll learn about several types of binding styles, then create and apply your own bias binding from scratch. From preparing your strips to joining them at the corners, this class covers both front and back binding applications using machine and hand-stitching techniques.

Whether you're looking for a clean machine finish or that cozy hand-stitched look, this class will give you the knowledge and practice to complete any quilt with confidence. It’s the perfect final step in your beginner quilting journey — and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Skill: Intermediate. This class is designed for students who are comfortable using their sewing machine, sewing accurate seams, and have experience piecing, quilting, and pressing. You should have completed a full quilt project (like the one from Module 4) before taking this class. Recommended for students who have completed Modules 1–4 of the Sewing from Scratch class series.

Please note: This class is for creatives that are 14+ years old.
