Ready to dive into the world of sewing? If you're a total beginner with a sewing machine that needs some love, Sewing from Scratch – Module 1 is the perfect place to start! Join Janet in this fun, hands-on class where you'll learn the absolute basics of sewing, from threading your machine to mastering a straight line and 1/4" seams. By the end of the class, you'll have made your very own patchwork pillow — a cozy, colorful creation that you can proudly display!

In this class, we’ll walk you through everything you need to know, including understanding fabric sides, using pins, pressing your seams, and the essential sewing machine skills like filling a bobbin and changing needles. With personalized guidance and a step-by-step binder designed by Janet and The Quilty Shop team, you'll feel confident as you sew your first project...and develop the skills to do more!

Please note: This class is for creatives that are 14+ years old!
