Celebrate the joy of quilting in this engaging three-session class featuring Notions of Joy, an original pattern written by our very own Shelby Bercu from The Quilty Shop! Designed with heart for those who love the craft, this cheerful quilt combines playful hearts, buttons, spools, fabric bundles, half-square triangles, and colorful patchwork into a modern 72" x 96" quilt.
During the first two sessions, Shelby (the pattern author herself!) will guide you through constructing the individual blocks while sharing tips for accurate, efficient, and confident piecing. Students will have homework between meetings to keep their projects moving and make the most of class time. During the final full-day session, you’ll create the setting blocks, begin assembling the quilt top, and learn techniques you can carry into future projects.
